The National Kiev-Pechersk Historical-Cultural Preserve is located in square of 23,54 hectares. Its architectural complex consists of the monuments of ХІІ-ХХ century. It is in fact an open-air exposition which you can visit with the best value (discounts for entry tickets for children, invalids, Second World War veterans, officers and soldiers, students)
Order of Lecture-Excursion
The excursion office is opened from 9.30a.m. to 5p.m. Tickets order for organised groups of visitors (not less than 10 persons) must be made in advance (by phone or private) or on day of visiting. The excursion topic, its date and time must be arranged in the excursion office while making an order. Cash and bank cards are acceptable. Excursion service is offered to the organised groups of visitors and independant visitors (tickets are given with the note of trip and description of sightseeings). The visitors are offered to have any excursion in organised groups (not less than 15 persons) which are normally formed near the central entrance. The excursion service also offers private visit (from 1 to 5 people), excursions for family when tourists have an opportunity to stay in the museum as much as they can. The lecture -excursions are offered in Russian, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Polish and Romanian language. The scientific-excursion offers to our visitors to have a lecture-excursion all over the territory of the Preserve, including undeground caves. The review and thematic excursions of the National Kiev-Pechersk Historical-Cultural Preserve are made with the help of lecturer-guides and research assistants of Preserve staff. The review excursion lasts for almost two hours - it is conditioned by a big territory of the Preserve (23,54 hectares) which has 140 buildings and installations of different kinds. The visitors are offered the general information about the Kiev-Pechersk Preserve, its origin, development and functioning during 9 centuries. The interesting material is told about its start and productive 78 years of scientific research on its territory. The visitors get to know a lot about the amazing complex of the Preserve and are offered to visit any temple by their choice.

- The Troyitskaya church - a monument of architecture of ХІІ-ХVІІІ centuries which has remained to nowdays with no big changes. St.Nickolas Monastery (served as asylum) - the development of domestic medicine is connected with this monasteryThe cells of monks - the monuments of civil architecture of XVIII century. In one of the corps, the exhibitions "Ukrainian art of baroque period" is presented, the exposition of holograms "Spiritual Treasure of Ukraine", the exhibition "Caves of Lavra. History. Architecture. Archaeology".
- The Dormition Cathedral is one of the most respected and recognised holy objects of the Orthodox world. In XI century it became the first stone temple on the monastery territory. It was damaged and destroyed during all its 900 years history.
