Water Museum

The Museum of Water is located in the marvelous place of Kiev, on one of the hills of the central part of the city.

The building of the museum, these are water-tower and reservoirs were installed here more than 130 years ago and it is the part of the natural-cultural complex known now as park "Khreschatyi". This place, known before as Tsars'kyi Garden was founded out in 1743 in accordance with the order of the Russian Empress Elizabeth and it is now the great historical monument of the Ukrainian Baroque style. The most wonderful detail of the park is the possibility to catch really picteresque views on Kiev from there thankfully to some sites and "The Bridge of Lovers". The first Museum on Water in Ukraine was opened on the 24th of May in 2003 on the base of water towers located there and reservoirs. This place is really popular among inhabitans and visitors of Kiev wherever they have come from...

Working Hours:

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - from 10a.m.-5p.m.; Saturday,Sunday - 10a.m.-6p.m. 1 hour before closing - last customer. Closed on Mondays & Tuesdays. From May to Septemberopened from 10a.m.-6p.m.
