Kyiv, June 25 – The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is to approve at a special session on Friday a draft of amendments to the state budget for 2008, taking into account presidential proposals, and submit it to the Verkhovna Rada, Premier Yulia Tymoshenko said at a briefing in Kyiv on Wednesday.
"On Friday at 11 00, the cabinet plans to discuss changes and amendments to the state budget at a special session, [which will be submitted] to parliament next week," he said.
The premier voiced hope that Ukrainian President Viktor Yuschenko would submit his proposals on the state budget to the government for consideration and approval.
