According to the calculations of Ukraine's presidential secretariat, the level of inflation in the country over 2008 may be about 18%, Presidential Secretariat First Deputy Head Oleksandr Shlapak has said.
"According to our calculations, by the end of the year, inflation will be a little bit higher than the 15.9%, level forecasted by the Cabinet of Ministers when making changes to the national budget, and [will in fact] total 18%," he said at a briefing in Kyiv on Thursday.
