Kyiv art gallery “Mystetska zbirka” (“The art collection”) welcomes you at the opening of Mykhailo Deiak personal painting exhibition on September 9 at 7 p.m at the address: 13 Tereshchenkivska Street (entrance archway, 2nd yard)
The dress code of the evening is the presence of yellow color.
Mykhailo Deiak
Mykhailo Deiak is one of the brightest and most vivid representatives of modern Transcarpathian School of painting. 14 February 1984 – he was born in Zolotarovo village, Khusts region.
1999-2003 –he had been studying and then had graduated from A. Erdeli Uzhgorod College of Art.
He was practicing under the watchful eyes of National artist of Ukraine V. Mykyta.
From year 2003 – he became a student of National Academy of fine arts and architecture. He worked the landscape workshop of Professor V. Zabashta, teached by the assistant professor I. Melnychuk.
His works are set at fund of museum of Ukrainian art and at private collections of Kyiv.
He is a permanent participant of the “Zolotoe sechenie”(the” Golden cut”) and the “Korners” (the “Corners”)auctions.
The basic elements of the author’s works are the expressions, in which the delicate nuances of state of nature reflect his personal emotional experience.
What is special in his imaginative thinking, manner of the painting and his style?
Probably it is Mykhailo’s conscience, his emotions that he relies on.
The freshness of his impressions is conveyed through the range of colors presented in his works.
Totally new collection of works of the painter as well as well-known ones will be presented on the exhibition’s opening.
The installation with the boat will be also presented, as a symbol of the flow of time, and this flow makes every person feel the individual color of emotion of moment of life, discovering something, coming alongside of an unknown shore, sometimes taking the plunge for a free adventure…
During the opening hours of the exhibition there will be a broadcast of the video with the step-by-step story of creation of one of the artist’s pictures, from the first sketch to the last brushstroke.
Mykhailo Deiak as a person is a famous painter with the style which is unique, with the great inspiration, with his own concept of artistic thinking and creative personality.
