Name John Prykhod'ka well known in Ukraine and abroad. Won Chubyns'kogo named Paul, Catherine Blond, Peter Verne member of National Association of Masters of Folk Art of Ukraine, an artist for 30 years of fruitful work in the field of decorative painting, folk toys and wooden sculptures.
In his works Ivan stranger turns to archaic Ukrainian characters: "contse", "tree of life", "bird", "horse" and others.
Among the main topics on which he works, should emphasize the theme of love for nature with the idea of harmonious coexistence of all that exists on earth - hence the vast tracks of flowers, animals, birds and people. In pictures Prykhod'ka ringing, singing Ukraine, do read it figuratively as in folk-thinking artist and his palette.
Visitors to the exhibition John Prykhod'ka indicate high positive "energy" of his works, to which the master himself says: "This heat, which comes out of my hands.
During the presentation will be shown the documentary "John Prykhod'ka Vernissage" (1988) and performing folk band Ivan Gonchar Museum.
