Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko has said she doesn't expect early elections to be held soon | 2008.03.09
Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko has said she doesn't expect early elections to be held soon.
"Only the politically insane could consider early elections to the Verkhovna Rada today," Tymoshenko said at a press conference in Kyiv on Monday, when asked by Interfax-Ukraine correspondent about the prospect of such a development.
"We are strongly against any early elections to the Verkhovna Rada," the premier said, adding that Ukraine currently needs only to work calmly.
