"I want to state clearly, that there are no talks [between] the BYT and the Regions Party, as the Regions Party was in a conspiracy with the presidential secretariat to break up the democratic coalition and call early elections," Tymoshenko said at a press conference in Kyiv.
According to Tymoshenko, the Regions Party had been waiting for the president to break up the democratic coalition, and it had now taken a decision to participate in early elections."
"Unfortunately, now Yuschenko and the Regions Party, and Akhmetov personally, have a direct conspiracy to participate in the early elections. They've agreed," she said.
Tymoshenko also said, that Yuschenko was flatly against forming a broader coalition with the Bloc of Lytvyn.
She said she had called more than once for a meeting with the president to discuss the current situation, but there had not been one.
