"Artists Slobozhanshchina" is part of a larger project, which aims to present works of art lovers from the depository of the National Art Museum of Ukraine. The first exhibition of the project - "Artists of South Palmira" - took place in May-August 2009 and enjoyed considerable success.
The exhibition is devoted to artists, life and work were linked to the land Slobozhanshchina. At the end of XIX century. the territory of Ukraine formed the major cultural centers - Kiev, Odessa and Kharkiv. Featuring vivid originality of artistic traditions and picturesque language, they affected the overall development of the national fine art.
