The exhibition, which opens at the National Center of Folk Culture "Ivan Gonchar Museum" highlights the works of renowned master from the village of Poltava Opishnae that in Poltava, a member of the National Union of Masters of Folk Art of Ukraine, Honored Master of Folk Art of Ukraine - Grigory Petrovich grin.
Talented artist Grigory Grin all his life devoted to study, preservation and revival of traditional embroidery and carpet weaving Poltava. Over 40 years spent on artistic production association "Poltavchanka, where developing sketches art products, relying on the creativity of rich archaeological and ethnographic material, which became for him a source of creating their own masterpieces. The exhibition highlights the artist's unique embroidery designs patterns of Poltava region with its unique color and variety of techniques.
GP Grin is a participant of many exhibitions both in Ukraine and abroad. His works are kept at the National Museum of Taras Shevchenko National Museum of Folk Architecture and Life of Ukraine, Kanev Museum of Ukrainian folk art and more.
Harmonious complement to the exhibition will be exhibits from a stock collection "Ivan Gonchar Museum" - Poltava old towels and shirts.
During the exhibition visitors will have a unique opportunity to listen to authentic vocal trio singing folk music theater Kharkov Ukraine "Oberegi in stock Honoured artists of Ukraine: Viktoria Osipenko, Elena Shishkina, Lyudmila Omelchenko.
